After many….many years of being one of the greatest players in the NFL at his respective position, wide receiver Antonio Brown (AB) formally requested a trade from the Pittsburgh Steelers on Feb. 12.

This shouldn’t come as much of a surprise to Steelers fans.

AB has had many issues with this franchise throughout his years there. Whether it be his head coach, or even the quarterback that he’s been playing with his entire career, the elements of his career just never meshed perfectly. So with all of this, what team could AB get traded to?

I believe that the best interest for the Steelers would be to trade for a defensive player. The only reason I say a defensive player is because Pittsburg already has what I think is suitable talent on the offensive side of the ball.

With rising stars such as JuJu Smith-Schuster and James Conner, I think they’ll be okay in that regard. Let’s not forget Ben Roethlisberger who is still pretty talented for his age and has one or two more years left in him.

I believe that the best move in interest of the Steelers should be to use AB to get a star defensive player along with a couple draft picks.

The years of AB in Pittsburg are at a close. After years of arguing with coaching staff and his own quarterback who can blame him, this is the best move for AB and I wish him the best of luck wherever to does end up.
